खरोखरच महाराष्ट्र हा राकट, कणखर आणि फुलांचाही देश आहे.

Maharashtra is the exotic land of Volcanic rock mountains, evergreen forests, bush forests, variety of flora and fauna. Once the Great Satvahana dynasty rulers ruled the state. Then there were Rashtrakutas, Kadambas and Yadavas. Then came the Greatest among all, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Finally there were Peshwas. All these Great rulers brought fame to the state. Today the state of Maharashtra is the most developed state in India. Mumbai is the capital and Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur are some of the many developed cities.
